1. STORES CONTROLLER

 

Purpose of the Role :  
 
  • Receiving all deliveries and checking for damaged packages.
  • Inspection of spares and checking all release paperwork meets the necessary requirements.
  • Booking all spares onto Aerotrac for stock, aircraft and projects.
  • Controlling issuing of spares, consumables and oils.
  • Managing all outbound shipment's with various couriers.
  • Maintaining and updating the quarantine store.
  • General housekeeping within stores.
Main Responsibilities:  
 
  • Good Inwards Control (Receiving & Inspection of Aircraft parts).
  • Up keep of Quarantine Stores/Unsalvageable items.
  • Up keep of Bonded Store.
  • Parts issued to Aircraft/Work Orders etc.
  • Packaging & Despatch of goods.
  • Maintaining usage rates and spares holding, informing the Commercial/Logistics Manager if stocks are reduced or likely to be reduced to an unacceptable limit.
  • Upkeep of Oil Stores and minimum levels.
  • Managing products with Shelf life
  • Liaising with Courier.  Freight Agents with regards to Collections.
  • Stock taking.
  • External parts sales transactions (Picking, packing, quoting and invoicing).
  • Raising purchase & repair orders.
  • General House Keeping.
  • Any other request made by Commercial/Logistics Manager.

Essential Requirements & Skills :

 
 
  • Previous experience working in Stores essential.
  • Good written and verbal English.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and quick to learn.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Proactive with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking.
  • Capable to prioritise and focus even in situations of high workload.
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner.
  • Willing to learn attitude.

2. RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR

 

Purpose of the Role:  
 
  • To provide reception duties for the Company and to support our Maintenance Manager and team. 
Main Responsibilities:  
 
  • Be the point of contact for all external calls.
  • Receive and field all calls and enquiries to the relevant departments.  Emailing accurate messages in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the reception area.
  • Responsible for welcoming Visitors, Staff, Couriers, Pilots, Work experience students and other members of the public.
  • Ensuring Visitors sign in/out and are issued with a Visitor Pass.
  • Point of call for booking meeting rooms, setting up the meeting room and ordering refreshments & lunch for client meetings.
  • Ordering a weekly supply of milk for staff kitchens.
  • Operate and maintain the security function of the reception area, working within the Health & Safety Requirements of the company.  
 Essential Requirements & Skills :  
 
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (within the Aircraft Industry advantageous but not essential).
  • English as mother tongue.
  • Well presented & professional.
